Saroja Thambi Chamundi – Professional Excellency Award in Medical Tourism for the year 2019

She is the wife of Late, Shri. C. Govindan Thambi, who owned the The Chamundi Hill Palace as family property. With her husband’s support, she opened the Ayurvedic Retreat here in 2002. With her strong faith, will power and determination, her dream of this Ayurvedic Retreat took deeper roots and now stands on par with other resorts. The Chamundi Hill Palace has been awarded the Green Leaf Citation from Kerala Tourism Department. She is also doing lots of charitable programs and donations as a part of their service schemes.
